Host/Hostess Wanted at The H Orlando

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and greet customers warmly with a genuine smile and eye contact; thank customers with a fond farewell as they are leaving and welcome them back again
  • Present a positive first impression of the restaurant’s friendliness, excellent service and high standards.
  • Enter customer’s names into the POS system
  • Escort customers to assigned dining area; present menus and announce waiter’s name

The H Orlando is looking for an Assistant Floor Manager to help the Operations Manager and Floor Manager on daily duties. This position will report directly to higher management.

This is an entry level management position that assists in the daily operations in the Restaurant/Bar and Dining Service.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Position maintains sanitation standards, assists servers and hosts on the floor during peak meal periods and supervises restaurants where applicable.

Night Prep Cook Job Description

We are looking for a hard-working NIGHT prep cook to be responsible for setting up workstations in the kitchen and preparing ingredients for the cooking process. The prep cook is required to perform basic cooking duties, monitor stock levels, and take on culinary tasks as they arise.

To be a successful Night prep cook, you should understand and be willing to comply with food and sanitation guidelines and regulations, be quick and diligent, and be willing to improve on the job. A top-notch prep cook should be able to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment.

Night Prep Cook Responsibilities:

  • Setting up and sanitizing workstations.
  • Following prep lists created by chefs.
  • Measuring ingredients and seasonings, and preparing cooking ingredients such as soup stock to be used in the cooking process.
